Not long ago, our executive Director, Ian Hammond was out on site carrying out BRE Drop Hammer Tests. This is a crucial step in ensuring the long-term durability and performance of our screed installations.

Featured in our pictures is Alderwood School, where the flooring will be subject to daily heavy traffic, making quality assurance more important than ever.

The BRE Drop Hammer Test helps us identify any potential weak spots within the screed. By dropping an annular weight from a height of 1 metre and precisely measuring the resulting indentation, we can accurately assess the screed’s ability to handle real world conditions.

This is a leading quality verification method across the industry, giving us and our clients the confidence that our floors are of the highest standards.
