A great opportunity to pause and reflect on the past while looking ahead to the future.

Following a full refurbishment, we're now settled into our new digs. Complete with modern amenities, including a private gym, electric vehicle charging points, a staff kitchen & canteen, washrooms & break-out spaces, I think we'll be comfortable!

A huge and overdue thank you to all the contractors who have supported me throughout this project.

Been a hectic few months, but still pushing on 💪💪

As we wrap up another busy year, the PC Flooring team will be taking a well-earned break for the holidays.

Our office will be closed from 19th December and will reopen on the 5th January.

A huge thank you to all our clients, partners, and team members for an incredible year, your support and hard work mean everything.

We’ve had some brilliant projects, plenty of graft, and lots to be proud of in 2025. Here’s to more success, teamwork, and great floors in 2026!

And you can feel it now, the mornings are darker, the air’s colder, and the ground’s that bit wetter.

For us at PC Flooring, that means the job gets a little tougher.
Early starts feel earlier. The site’s colder. And every floor takes a bit more planning.

When the weather turns, we’ve got to stay flexible, sometimes schedules shift, mixes change, and prep becomes even more important.
You can’t rush it when the conditions aren’t playing ball.

But here’s the thing, the lads still turn up, day after day.
With the same determination to get the job done right, no matter the weather.

Because that’s what this time of year reminds us of, it’s not just skill that keeps the work moving, it’s commitment, teamwork, and pride in what we do.

We recently visited the new BEACH Building at Bournemouth Hospital. A brand new facility for Births, Emergency Care, Critical Care and Child Health.

We're proud to have played a part in the development of this incredible facility, installing Proprietary Screeds.

It's great to see the project completed and to see the space come to life after all the hard work that goes in behind the scenes.

We're looking forward to getting started on the next phase at Bournemouth Hospital!

Not long ago, our executive Director, Ian Hammond was out on site carrying out BRE Drop Hammer Tests. This is a crucial step in ensuring the long-term durability and performance of our screed installations.

Featured in our pictures is Alderwood School, where the flooring will be subject to daily heavy traffic, making quality assurance more important than ever.

The BRE Drop Hammer Test helps us identify any potential weak spots within the screed. By dropping an annular weight from a height of 1 metre and precisely measuring the resulting indentation, we can accurately assess the screed’s ability to handle real world conditions.

This is a leading quality verification method across the industry, giving us and our clients the confidence that our floors are of the highest standards.

Great to see Ian getting his hands dirty!

We’re delighted to share our recent work at The Flume with Beard Construction.

Our team delivered:
- Kingspan Insulation - a high performance thermal layer.
- Separating membrane.
- Heavy Duty Ultimate K Screed - a robust, fast-drying screed that, in the right conditions, dries at a rate of 75mm per week.

It was a pleasure collaborating with Beard on this scheme, a smooth process from start to finish.

Every project has its own challenges, but this one reminded us how important it is to get the details right on the build-up before screeding.

The foundation work really sets the standard for the final finish.

We’re excited to celebrate Oliver Hammond for achieving his NEBOSH Health and Safety Management qualification!

This is a fantastic milestone that reflects both Oliver’s hard work and his commitment to keeping our projects and people safe.

At PC Flooring, health and safety is a top priority, and having team members like Oliver who go the extra mile makes a real difference.

It's great to see the effort pay off, well done Olli! 👏

We’ve just kicked off a new project in North Street, Crewkerne with the team at Ashcot Construction Ltd.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working across 24 new homes, installing:

- DPM
- Separating membrane
- PIR insulation
- Fibre Reinforced Sand & Cement screed.

It’s always great to get started on site and see things taking shape. Looking forward to seeing this one come together!

There are some jobs where the location makes the hard work even better, and this one on Banks Road, Sandbanks was exactly that!
